Were any of these surprising to you? Many of these will be pertinent to you as you continue your programs of study here at UAGC. Others may be more applicable to your career, or even your personal life. As such, it would be a great idea to think about how these may be useful to you and your personal context moving forward! Next, reflect on the different social science disciplines you have learned about during this course. How might their findings be useful, broadly construed? How have these different disciplines been applied throughout the topics for this week, education and twenty-first century life? In this final discussion of the course, you will be discussing how social science themes, research, and findings can be applied within society.Write:Once you have selected the topic you will be investigating this week, select one popular/professional source from those in the Week 5 Discussion Resources page. There are also scholarly sources that you may use as well. Use this source, as well as chapters 11 and 12 of An introduction to Social Science: Individuals, Society, and Culture,to write an initial post of at least 250 words that:
Identifies your selected theme.
Examines the main points of your selected source, as well as any conclusions.
Relates the conclusions of your source to larger social science themes discussed in this course. How are these conclusions based upon social science methods and approaches?
Proposes how the findings of your selected sources can be further applied to help address a social problem.
